Client: Arts University Bournemouth
Project: Gold Washed Windows
Year: 2024
Brief
Explore creative responses to wicked problems—focusing on Bournemouth’s 28 neglected high street shopfronts and how changing their appearance could reignite interest and awareness.
Outcome
Inspired by kintsugi and using collage and rapid prototyping, I created Gold Washed Windows—a concept that highlights the hidden value of empty spaces through gold-painted visuals. The final images are all cut out by hand. The project aimed to reframe abandonment as potential, and was featured by Dezeen Magazine - Check it out here
Role
Concept development, visual execution, and prototyping.
